Two grants, sponsored through Berea College Externally Sponsored Programs, were awarded to two Jackson County Middle School teachers. Mrs. Martina Singletary, science teacher, and Mr. Brad Kerby, social studies teacher, will each receive 20 iPads and a MacBook Pro for use in their classrooms. Out of sixty grant proposals written by teachers from across Central and Eastern Kentucky, only 17 were funded, including those written by Singletary and Kerby.

Mrs. Singletary and Mr. Kerby look forward to using their iPads in innovative ways to enrich the curriculum for their students in the new school year!
